The defibrillator installed at the end of 2021 at the Grapes on Mathew Street has not only saved four lives, but the inspiring and heart-warming story has now caught the attention of The British Heart Foundation.
When the British Heart Foundation got in touch and asked Karen to be part of their latest campaign, it was a no brainer and she jumped at the chance to share her story and experiences.
The video aims to encourage everyone who looks after a defibrillator to register their devices on the Circuit, to help more lives from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.
What has happened at The Grapes has inspired us at Blind Tiger Inns to install more defibrillators within our estate, with one at The Park View and The Wishing Well being installed this September!
