The Little B in Sale are celebrating as they were crowned Area Winner for Innovation in the 2026/7 Thwaites 220 Awards!
John and his team are delighted to be invited to Blackpool Tower Ballroom next January as they bring together the Pride of Thwaites Awards and Hospitality Awards for one spectacular evening!
Since John joined the Little B he has continually found new ways to surprise customers, attract new audiences and keep the Little B relevant. Throughout the year, The Little B delivers an exciting calendar of events that appeal to a wide range of audiences and ensures the pub remains exciting and vibrant.
The Little B Fest was the first of its kind this year and a huge success. As the Manchester Marathon passed through Sale, The Little B-eer Stop was waiting to give thirsty runners a complimentary pint of paradise and a DJ atmosphere that spurred everyone on.
In addition to this, the pub has also formed a strong partnership with Laros Greek Street Food bringing a fresh concept to Sale while also broadening the pubs appeal. A state-of-the-art TV was added to the pub during the World Cup, turning a beer garden into a high energy viewing destination, that is now renowned for watching sport at with friends on a weekend.

“I am absolutely stunned to be the Area Winner for Innovation, and I am very excited for the next stage of judging to see if we can become National winner at the Tower Ballroom next in Blackpool next January.
