Blind Tiger Inns have continued their sponsorship of and investment in Euxton Villa FC with the donation of a 56-seater stand for spectators.
After years of hard work on and off the field and with the help of a strong management team and fantastic volunteers; in May 2022, Euxton Villa were promoted to The Northwest Counties Football League. The excitement was real for everyone involved but as the new era loomed, the club was in need of investment to meet the requirements of playing in the North West Counties league
The Talbot has been a sponsor of Euxton Villa FC for the last five years, so the relationship and loyalty to the club was already strong when the club’s management approached Blind Tiger Inns for support. To accommodate all the extra spectators that would come with being in the new league, and to meet the stringent requirements of the North West Counties league, the club needed more seating, including a covered stand for 56 spectators.
Blind Tiger Inns agreed to invest over £15,000 to purchase the new stand and help with other vital changes that were needed. The stand landed in March to pass the ground grading to enter the league and is now ready for the new season. Luckily Euxton Villa’s black and orange signature colours are exactly the same as Blind Tiger Inns, so it works perfectly!

The stand looks amazing and everyone loves it as it has the best view of all the action! Without investors like Blind Tiger Inns, so much of what we achieve as a football club wouldn’t be possible, so thank you!”

“We have always supported the teams at Euxton Villa across all levels with various kits and equipment. The stand seemed like a great idea, not only to help the first team be able to compete in the North West Counties, but also it will give benefit to teams at all levels.
We support lots of teams across the North West through our pubs, but Villa will always have a special affinity, as I was once selected as a substitute at under 11’s level; unused of course! We would like to wish the first team the best of luck in their first season in the counties, and of course hope all the teams within the club have a fantastic season.”
