Blind Tiger Inns invests £1m in biggest project to date – The Grosvenor

This week saw us open our 21st Blind Tiger Inns venue in the city of Manchester, with our most significant and, admittedly crazy, investment to date.

The Grosvenor opened to a fanfare of media attention, transforming the iconic Grosvenor Picture Place site into a unique adult playground and social hub.

The venue is a huge part of Manchester history, having been home to a variety of famous brands and concepts in its 111 year history. Not it has been restored to real glory and has already become a major talking point on the Manchester nightlife scene.

Blind Tiger Inns internal team undertook the £1m project, which was completed in just 25 days, creating a variety of areas and zones for visitors to enjoy. Theres a food hall style atrium, an internal garden with oil barrel tables, bright pink Chesterfield sofas and of course, our now famous ball pit.

Upstairs you will find more unique zones, including a ‘peep show’ area, Victorian arber booth seating, and incredible hand painted murals adorning the walls.

These murals feature on the beautiful ceiling, again all painstakingly hand painted by our favourite artist Jano.  In total the murals took 12 days to paint using spray cans and are wowing all the visitors to the venue.

Add to this a brand-new stage area, above the bar and the biggest screen in Manchester and you have one of the most exciting venues you will experience; as many have said already, there truly is nothing quite like it.

As well as looking amazing, the Grosvenor has had two beautiful bars built, both fully stocked with wines, cocktails and an exciting draught range with local IPA beers, craft cider and our very own Blind Tiger Pilsner.

Now open, visitors are attracted by the great new menu of pizzas, burgers and sharers, complemented by an incredible line up of events and entertainment. There truly is something for everybody with a photo booth, poot tables, beer pong and a ball pit. But if this innt enough, there is an interactive quiz night, student dance night, after work socials with live vocalists, big name Ibiza club DJ nights and more.

If sport is your thing, you really are in for a treat. The main screen is an absolute giant, suspended on a 7m truss above the stage giving world class viewing. This is coupled with other screens within the venue, all showing Sky Sports, TNT, Pay-per-view and anything else you can think of in HD quality and with an epic sound system. There is nowhere better to catch the big games.

Understandably, everybody at Blind Tiger Inns is very proud of the venue and manging director Chris Tulloch told us,

“Its certainly something different for Blind Tiger Inns, and we have never taken on a challenge this big before. The investment has been huge, but this has been a lot of fun, as the team have put a huge amount of effort and dedication into ensuring everything about the venue is amazing. The product line up, the design, the entertainment schedule, the menu and all combined has been a real team effort and its been a joy to see all members of the team excel in making their particular part of this project a reality.”
