Stanley & Co makes it 22 for Blind Tiger Inns

The historic Preston pub, Stanley Arms made it 22 for Blind Tiger Inns when it reopened last week after a £150,000 investment that has put it firmly back on the map just in time for Christmas!

Now known as Stanley & Co, the refurbishment has seen the pub transformed into a premium social space specialising in sport and entertainment while serving an extensive selection of drinks and creating 10 new jobs for the local community.

The refurbishment completely renovated both the inside and outside of the Grade II listed building, bringing out its character and enhancing the local area. New Café-style seating at the front, as well as a new awning, signage and lighting has made Stanley & Co the perfect place to enjoy the weather and people watch when the warmer months come.

A dramatic makeover of the inside has retained features such as the old fireplace and panelling while complementing them with a stylish contemporary décor that has stripped timber floors, stunning tile work and hand-painted murals by the incredibly talented Jano that has worked on all the recent refurbishments within Blind Tiger Inns.

Large HD TV screens can be found in the prime viewing positions showing all the live sport channels for sports enthusiasts as well as state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems that will ensure an amazing atmosphere and entertainment at the weekends.

Chris Tulloch, Blind Tiger Inns Managing Director commented on the refurbishment:

“Formerly knows as the Stanley Arms, the pub has always been well-known but has lost its way in recent times. Our aim taking on this project was to put it back on the map as a fantastic place to come where people can safely enjoy sports, socialising and a great time in beautiful surroundings.

We’ve definitley transformed it into a beautiful venue and we have a real opportunity now in the busiest month of the year for pubs to show the people of Preston how great it is which will set us up for a fantastic 2025!”
