Feliz Navidad! The team travel to Malaga for their Christmas festivities!

Over the last 7 years, we’ve had some epic Christmas parties within Blind Tiger Inns and this year was no different when the team went international for their Christmas festivities and travelled to Malaga for a jam-packed weekend of fun!

After leaving Manchester early morning, we landed in Malaga and enjoyed lunch in the shadow of Malaga’s Santa Iglesia Cathedral. We spent the afternoon taking in the culture, exploring the Alcazaba and the Roman amphitheatre before finishing the afternoon with some drinks in Soho barrio.

Later that evening, we headed on a tapas tour with local guide, Laura who took us to three very different tapas places to experience some delicious food paired with even nicer wine! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed trying something new before retiring to the hotel for a good night’s sleep for a busy day ahead!

The next morning, we were up bright and early for our full day trip to the Caminito del Rey; known as one of the most spectacular walks in the world just an hour’s drive outside of Malaga centre. The Caminito is a series of wooden walkways hanging over a gorge at a height of 300 meters! With spectacular panoramic views for miles, it was one of the best experiences we’ve had as a team and even better as it pushed boundaries as some overcame their fear of heights!

That night was spent on a rooftop overlooking Malaga’s famous Christmas lights while we enjoyed an incredible meal and toasted to another successful year together. The next day we had lunch at the marina overlooking the super yachts followed by a walk along the beach and a visit to an English pub to watch some Premier League football before the flight home!

A few comments from the team about the trip:

“A truly memorable trip and way to round of the year with the best team”

“I’m so proud of myself for conquering the Caminito del Rey after not wanting to do it for fear of heights! Always pushing boundaries even on our Christmas do!”

“Not only was it my first ever time on a plane, I got to experience so many amazing things while I was there too!”

“Nobody does it like Blind Tiger Inns and we’re already planning our Christmas to Cork next year!”
