Stockport pubs collaborate with Robinsons Brewery

Launched by Robinsons Brewery in 2016, Dizzy Donates is a fundraising campaign that pledges 5p from every pint of Dizzy Blonde ale to a chosen charity. Within the Blind Tiger Inns estate, two of the pubs decided to participate in this, donating to charities close to their hearts.

The Chestergate in Stockport helped raise a total of £219 towards Francis House Children’s Hospice form the sale of their Dizzy Blonde.

Fundraising Officer, Emma Rapley commented: “On behalf of the Children and families of Francis House Children’s Hospice, thank you for choosing our charity to donate your funds. Your contribution will help us to continue to care for over 500 children.”

The Rising Sun, also in Stockport raised £151.20 from the sale of their Dizzy blonde which went towards Prostate Cancer UK, another worthy charity.

Managing Director of Blind Tiger Inns, Chris Tulloch said: “Cask ale is very popular within our venues and to know that the sale of each pint of Dizzy helps the pubs chosen charities, is really great! Well done guys.”
