Blind Tiger Inns have continued their sponsorship of their local football club Euxton Villa for the 8th consecutive season.
Its a deal that takes the total investment by Blind Tiger Inns into the football club to over £40,000 in the past eight years, with involvement not just in the first team but also many teams within the football club including junior and girls teams.
As well as providing the stand to Euxton Villa 3 years ago, Blind Tiger Inns have been 1st team shirt sponsors and have recently renewed this, sponsoring the home kits and leisure / training wear.
Euxton Villa have spent two seasons in the North West First Division North, and following a successful season in 2024-25, secured promotion and will now be competing in the North West counties Premier Division. In addition, for the first time in their history, Euxton Villa will be competing in the FA Cup!
Mark McDonnell, Chairman of Euxton Villa told us,
“The support of Blind Tiger Inns has been phenomenal, particularly with the purchase of the stand we required to move up into the North West Counties league. Since then the club has really accelerated, with massive input and investment from the FA. We now have 52 teams competing at all levels, and the club is a huge part of the local community.”
Blind Tiger Inns sponsor a lot of sports clubs across the North West, including hockey teams, football teams and running clubs. It’s a great way to cement the age old relationship between football clubs and the local pub.
Managing Director of Blind Tiger Inns, Chris Tulloch tells us;
“Operating community pubs gives us a great platform to work with local teams and charities to strengthen community bonds. We have raised and invested well over £100,000 into local communities since we began trading in 2017. Its particularly fun to be able to donate to Euxton Villa as it brings back memories of me being an unused substitute for them in the under 8’s team back in 1986 – a proud moment for me!”
