Inaugural Awards Night for Blind Tiger Inns a roaring success!

Blind Tiger Inns this week brought their entire team together for the Tigers, their first full company get-together and awards night; and what a night it was.

The black tie event was packed with glitter and glamour with invites for every single team member across the business meaning over 160 people attended the party!

Awards were presented in six categories, with the winners of each award receiving a trophy, cheque for the team and the stature of being a winner in the inaugural awards night. Congratulations to all of our winners!

Best Entertainment Offer                        The Grapes, Liverpool

Social Media Champion                             The Chestergate, Stockport

Best Sports Pub                                              The Park View, Burnley

Best Community Pub                                  The Hawk, Wigan

Manager of the Year                                    Gemma and Mandy Schon, The Halfway House, Runcorn

Everybody looked amazing at the event which was held at the Argyll and Sutherland on The Wirral, with the awards being presented by our generous sponsors; Microtill, Carrick Signs, Regal Gaming, LWC, Nation Security and Star Pubs and Bars.

Winners of the prestigious Manager of the Year award, Gemma and Mandy from the Halfway said this:

“Wow, we were not expecting that. First awards ceremony and we only went and won managers of the year. Thank you and well done to the rest of the winners. Big Shout out to all the Halfy team, without you we wouldn’t have won this!”

Great words as winners, and in typical Blind Tiger Inns style, they know that, like everything in this industry, it really is all about the team.

Managing Director of Blind Tiger Inns, Chris Tulloch tells us:

“Its been in my plans to have an awards night since the very beginning of Blind Tiger Inns in 2017, and I am so glad we finally managed to make it happen, despite it taking me seven years!

Massive thanks to everybody involved, from the sponsors, the head office team bringing the event to life and most importantly the teams from every pub who came and celebrated.

The award winners are all incredible, but every single person at the event is an amazing part of our team and to have the chance to bring everybody together to say a massive thank you and celebrate as one was a very, very proud moment”

The Tiger awards were only part of what was an incredibly special day. The management teams from each pub joined the head office team for a day of activities beforehand. With hovercrafting, buggy driving and even a highly competitive ‘old skool sports day’ there was certainly a lot of team building, laughs and the chance to get to know members of the team from other pubs across the North West.

Chris explains,

We bring the managers together every year to look at how we are doing, where we have come in the year and the opportunities for the next year. Its always a great day, despite the guys having to listen to me for too long, and the activities were superb. We can’t wait to get planning next years event!”
