As is tradition, Blind Tiger Inns are rewarding their top performing managers with a once in a lifetime experience, this time taking 4 pub managers to the sun, sand and bright lights of Dubai.
Each year, any pub manager who hits 3 out of 12 months ‘clean sweep’ bonuses, ticking all KPI metrics, automatically books their seat on the plane.
Now that 2024 figures have been completed, its been a pleasure for the operations team to visit the successful managers and let them know they will be jetting out to Dubai in early March. The trip is an all expenses paid experience, and now in its third year. Previous winners have been spotted on the Las Vegas Strip and flying in a Helicopter above New York City skyline!
Chris Tulloch, managing director of Blind Tiger Inns tells us,
“I came up with the scheme a few years ago, and it’s a big driver within our business. Its based on doing the key tasks well, not the amount of profit or turnover we make. This gives every single pub manager a fair chance of winning the prize. Equally, its unlimited in winners; tick 3 boxes and you are on the plane, whether that is 1 pub or all 22 managers, which would be my dream!”
The winners this year are Gemma and Mandy from The Halfway House in Runcorn, Martin from the Station in Preston, and back on the winners podium for the second year in a row is Tony from The Park View in Burnley.
As well as being achievable by all pubs, regardless of turnover, the scheme is based on hitting 3 months from 12. This means that a pub can have a slow start, but still be in the running right up until period 12.
The itinerary for the trip is strictly under wraps, but the winning managers can be sure they will have an unforgettable experience, and have been warned that they need both a strong head for heights and their swimwear!
