The winning pub managers for the 2024 Blind Tiger incentive spent an incredible 4 days in Dubai last week, seeing all the sights and taking part in incredible experiences. It was a full-on week and an incredible reward for their hard work and over achievements in 2024.
The team of four from the Halfway House, Park View and Station pubs jetted off to Dubai, with their host Chris Tulloch, managing director of Blind Tiger Inns.
This is the third such trip run by Blind Tiger Inns, with previous winners visiting Las Vegas and New York City. The trip is available to win for all managers if they achieve maximum monthly KPI’s in any 3 months in a 12-month period. The goal according to Chris is for every single manager to go on the trip.
Day one consisted of a day at the water park. There was no shortage of fun and excitement with our big achievers from Blind Tiger encouraged (forced) to try big rides. Most of the day was spent laughing, with high energy rides being interspersed with chills on the lazy river.
Day two was a much more chilled out affair, with no adrenaline activities planned. The team took the time to relax on the beautiful beach at their hotel at FIVE on the palm. There were plenty of drinks consumed, mainly cocktails but with plenty of Sangria Bianco thrown into the mix too!
Dinner was another adrenalin themed event, served in the Dubai harbour suspended 50m high, with legs dangling below. Once everybody got over the initial shock of eating their food so high, it was an awesome spectacle, surrounded by the skyscrapers, with the bright lights of the Dunai skyline reflecting on the ocean below. This truly was a once in a lifetime experience, and the food was incredible too!
A rooftop nightclub experience at Toy Room Dubai Penthouse rounded off the night, with dancing and drinking until the early hours!
Day three was a real Blind Tiger style day; never a dull moment here! The team went to Skydive Dubai and embraced their fears to leap from a plane 13,000 ft above the sea. Once the sheer fear of jumping from the plane was over, the views of the Palm below were absolutely stunning and will be remembered forever. Even more fun was had looking back at the amusing photos and videos.
Mandy Schon of the Halfway House in Runcorn, completed her first ever skydive and told us;
“A big thank you to Blind Tiger Inns for this once in a lifetime experience. This was the last thing I expected to be doing, but for somebody who is not good with heights, I smashed it!”
Keeping with the theme of the day and fresh from their skydiving fun, the team then headed to the Aura Skypool. Aura is one of the ‘must see’ sights in Dubai. 50 stories up, this infinity swimming pool gives unreal views of the Palm and the sunset view must surely be up there with the best in the world.
And just like that, Dubai 2025 was complete.
Another trip organised by Blind Tiger Inns to reward their team for their outstanding achievements in 2024. We can’t wait to see who is on board the plane to Miami, the reward for smashing their 2025 targets.
