Blind Tiger Inns have kicked off their annual winter fundraising initiatives with a 3 day food bank collection being held at The Talbot in Euxton. This is The Talbots third year being a collection point and once again all donations are being sent to Chorley Help the Homeless, a fantastic organisation doing great work in Chorley and surrounding areas.
The collection point at The Talbot is one of many collections taking place across the North West, including link ups with Hospital children’s wards, various food banks, The Radio City City Cash 4 Kids appeal in Liverpool, and many more.
As with previous years, the Talbot are appealing to local residents to give something back to the community and are confident that despite the tough times, the customers will once again go the extra mile.
Managing Director of Blind Tiger Inns, Chris Tulloch tells us,
“The work our pubs and their communities do all year round to support others is incredible, but at Christmas it really goes up to the next level. It’s a pleasure to visit the pubs and see all the hard work turn into literal mountains of donations. The current climate does of course make it tougher for some people to donate, but equally more and more people need the support so hopefully this year we get the usual bumper collections.
Details of all the various initiatives can be found on the social media pages of the relevant pubs, with the Talbot kicking things off with their collection point this week on Friday (3-6pm), Saturday (10-2pm)and Sunday (10-2pm).
