Blind Tiger Inns have opened their 20th pub, The Trafford which is an iconic Manchester United supporters pub, just a stones throw away from Old Trafford stadium.
The pub reopened its doors on Saturday 16th September for the Brighton game, much to the supporters delight after being closed for the first couple of home games. After rumours the iconic pub may not reopen again, it was an exciting day for everyone when they could return to their favourite pre and post-match watering hole!
While the pub hasn’t been refurbished; there are big plans for The Trafford on the way starting with some amazing graffiti covering the beer garden, turning it into an attractive fan zone where hundreds of people congregate before and after Manchester United games.
The interior of the pub is a homage to Manchester United and this will be at the forefront of the new design once the pub is refurbished next year during the Premier League summer break. The idea will be to make the inside cool and contemporary while ensuring there is a still a strong Manchester United theme running through the pub.
The signage and whole exterior of the pub will also be transformed, giving it fantastic kerb appeal and making it impressive for all those passing by on their way to the match.

“The Trafford marks the 20th pub for Blind Tiger Inns and what an iconic pub it is! It’s a massive match-day pub with a lot of history from back in the day so we want to understand the market first before we make any changes, but we will definitley be putting our Blind Tiger stamp on it.
People clearly absolutely love the pub as we only had 24 hours to let people know we were reopening, and we were flooded with people from opening at 10am which is amazing! We can’t wait to see what the next few games bring now that the word is out there that The Trafford is back and here to stay!”
