The Rising Sun in Hazel Grove has undergone a huge refurbishment, transforming it from community pub to premium local.
The iconic pub has been transformed both inside and out with L.S Lowry inspired mural spanning the entire left-hand side of the pub, that has been stopping traffic!
On entering the pub, customers are greeted with on-trend graffiti walls and lots of references to Stockport and its northern heritage through artwork all around the pub. A cosy snug area has been created by the log fire, while the pool & darts area has new TVs, a state-of-the-art contactless pool table and graffiti on the walls.
Additional seating has been added to accommodate for busy United and City matches, and the booths to the back of the pub have been removed to make for more seating and tables where they regularly host functions.
The bar has been transformed and is much more of a focal point now on entrance to the pub. The toilets have also been graffitied in a style you’d see in cool bars in Manchester City Centre, which will no doubt become the perfect photo opportunity when people are out watching the live entertainment over the weekend.
