December has arrived and the festive season is well under way across the Blind Tiger Inns estate! Our teams have been busy decorating their pubs inside and out since November and now that December is here, the countdown to Christmas is officially on!
So far, the Rising Sun have hosted their Party in the North Pole as well as the Hawk hosting their Christmas markets and light switch on for the second year running. Foodbanks, toy collections and other fundraising initiatives are also taking place across the entire estate to ensure we are giving back to our communities when they need it most over the festive period.
From breakfast with Santa, visits from the Grinch, Dolly Parton, and Michael Bublé tributes, Christmas karaoke and New Year’s Eve ‘At the Oscar’s’ parties; there really is something for everyone! Amongst the madness, the pubs are also trying to squeeze in their own Christmas parties where they can and taking their teams out to say thank you for all their hard work throughout the year!
Operations Manager, Nick Buckle commented on the countdown to Christmas:
