Blind Tiger Inns are very excited for quarter 4 of 2022, with Halloween, Christmas and a World Cup thrown in for good measure this year.
In order to get the planning and execution to be the very best it can be they arranged to get every single pub management team together to ‘plan and party’.
In the first event of its kind for Blind Tiger, the teams all got together to run through loads of suggestions for the 3 events that had been put together by the head office team along with a small group of managers a couple of months earlier.
The day itself meant that the ideas and plans could be fine tuned, perfect serve could be demonstrated and plenty of feedback could be shared about previous and planned promotions.
Throughout the day there were presentations by various members of the team, along with games, dressing up and even a computer generated World Cup sweepstake, which weirdly England won, but we aren’t reading too much into that… yet!
Flitting from Halloween to the World Cup and then Christmas week was a bit of a whirlwind, but certainly meant every pub was involved in what was being planned, as well as gaining a real understanding of the promotions by playing the games and making the drinks.
Nick Buckle, Operations Manager of Blind Tiger told us,
“We tend to do things a little differently at Blind Tiger, its one of the things that makes us different from other companies around us. This is helped by our scale and being a relatively small group, however the over-riding factor is that every single one of the team loves to have fun and do things that are a little but wacky at times!
The day had the perfect balance of information and fun, and I am sure we will be doing similar events moving forwards”
Once the main part of the day was complete, the group of pub managers wanted to prove that as well as great operators, they understand their product range and are superstars at product sampling and quality control. Stone baked pizzas from a local supplier were served, and a fantastic glow party began, which lasted well into the early hours!
