The darts team at the Halfway House have made it to the ‘Darts Stars’ final which takes place on Tuesday 28th November! Hosted by Star Pubs and Bars, the tournament is the UKs biggest live stream darts tournament that sees teams go head-to-head against other pubs within the SP&B estate, in real time, against their opponents via live stream.
The tournament began in early October and has seen the team from the Halfway House sail through the group stages and playoff stage. After reaching the semi-final in the 2022 tournament, the team were eager to reach the final this year and knew they were capable of it especially when they realised, they were playing a team that they had already beaten before.
Amongst other prizes, the winners of next Tuesdays final will win the prestigious prize of 2 team tables at the World Darts Championships at Alexandra Palace in December which the team at the Halfy can’t wait to get their hands on!
Good luck to the Halfy team from everyone at Blind Tiger Inns!
Gemma Schon, Manager of the Halfway House commented on their darts success:
“The team have put so much into the tournament and are so happy they are through to the final, especially as they were so close last year! They really deserve to win next week, and we’ll all be supporting them at the pub.
Thank you to Star Pubs & Bars for putting on such a great event. I don’t think before covid anyone would have thought to do a virtual darts tournament, but it has worked really well and the lads have been able to do it all from the comfort of their own local!”
