Blind Tiger Inns has reopened The Castle in Clitheroe following a major refurbishment, marking the latest milestone in an ambitious investment programme that has seen the group grow to 23 sites and invest over £1 million across its estate in the past year.
The Castle, a landmark venue in the heart of Clitheroe, represents Blind Tiger’s first partnership with Trust Inns and has launched with strong early momentum. The fully renovated site now delivers a bold, modern pub experience while respecting its heritage, featuring striking interiors, enhanced outdoor areas, and upgraded bar and cellar infrastructure.
Customer response has been overwhelmingly positive, with locals praising the quirky design, graffiti murals, standout atmosphere and most importantly, the energetic team.
Following the success of this collaboration, further opportunities between Blind Tiger and Trust Inns are already under discussion.
The opening reflects Blind Tiger Inns’ ongoing strategy of investing in and revitalising community-led pubs across the North of England. The company’s model continues to deliver growth without debt or external investment, even amid ongoing industry challenges.

Next on the horizon is The Little B in Sale, a new partnership with Thwaites, set to open on 15th August, just in time for the new Premier League season. Tulloch describes the upcoming launch as “one of our most exciting projects to date.”
Blind Tiger Inns currently operates 23 venues across the North West, with plans for further growth throughout 2025, subject to the right opportunities.
