Blind Tiger Brew Co adds 6th bar to fleet

Blind Tiger Inns mobile bars division, ‘Blind Tiger Brew Co’ are summer season ready with the addition of a brand new, custom designed trailer bar.  The new bar made its debut at the Aintree festival and is already being booked for gigs throughout the season.

The bar brings the fleet within Blind Tiger Brew Co, to six bars with something to suit the needs of every event, festival or gig. The fleet include trailers, containers, pop ups and even a Land Rover Defender.

The new 6 metre bar, is based on the size and design of a shipping container, however this unit can be towed to venues, eliminating the need and cost of HIAB or crane transportation.

Named the ‘Juice Joint’, which was a slang term given to Speakeasy bears in the US prohibition era, the bar has created excitement amongst the Blind Tiger team. Managing Director of Blind Tiger Inns, Chris Tulloch tells us;

“We love our existing container bar, and the volumes it can serve for us and our customers, however sometimes the cost of movement made its use prohibitive. The new bar ticks all the boxes, as it has the space to provide maximum output, but is super versatile and can be driven into an event and set up in minutes.”

The bar was used as one of the 3 external bars provided by Blind Tiger Brew Co to their own pub, The Queens at Aintree, for the Grand National festival weekend. It was put straight into action, having only been completed the week before, and was busy with 4 team members from the opening of day one to the closing of day 3 at the festival.

Bars manager of Blind Tiger Brew Co, Chris Ramsden was clearly impressed by his new bit of kit:

“We wanted something that could deliver high volumes of service and accommodate 5 team members, and this is exactly what we have had built. We also wanted a self-contained cellar area for kegs and this worked really well.

It is our first completely custom-designed trailer, with the design based on the best elements of other bars we have bought over the years, and it has certainly achieved our goals”
