April was a month full of love and surprises across the Blind Tiger family, with not one but two heart-warming proposals taking place in our pubs!
The first took place at The Grapes in Liverpool, where resident DJ Ray dropped to one knee and proposed to fellow team member Donna, who works behind the bar. The special moment caught the attention of the Liverpool Echo and captured hearts throughout the city. Weβre thrilled to report that Donna said yes!
Another unforgettable proposal happened at the Halfway House in Runcorn. Long-time manager Gemma, who was celebrating her 40th birthday, got the surprise of her life when her partner Wayne proposed in front of her friends, family, and regulars. Thankfully for Wayne, Gemma also gave a resounding yes!
Gemma and her mum Mandy have been at the helm of the Halfway House for seven years, transforming it into a true community hub. What better way to celebrate both a milestone birthday and the strength of that community than with such a joyful and memorable occasion?
While February might traditionally be the month of love and April the month of fools, here at Blind Tiger, we like to do things a little differently. We’re overjoyed for both couples and wish them a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and love.
Congratulations, Gemma and Wayne β and Ray and Donna β from everyone at Blind Tiger!
